Equipment arrived quickly and is good quality
When I bought this, I read the text "may not fit multiple large hex dumbbells" and I think, reasonably, assumed that they were talking about the huge weights that some people lift. As the heaviest weight I have currently is 17.5kg I assumed that would be fine.
It isn't.
It won't hold my set of 7.5kg, 10kg, 12.5kg, 15kg and 17.5kg weights.
If I try to load them on, the entire set of weights sits on top of the 17.5kg weight with no way of getting weights out other than removing them all (see photo).
As far as I am concerned, this is a faulty product that is not fit for purpose. If they do want to sell it, it should be very clear that it will basically only hold the first 5 weights in their range and nothing larger. Unfortunately, despite it being, in my opinion, a fault in the design, I have to pay return postage to send it back which isn't cheap, so I'm likely stuck with a useless stand.
I had been planning to continue kitting out my gym with Northern, but I think I'll go somewhere where the products are designed better.
